Hi Fighters,
After two years of organizing Fight Club Berlin—a queer grappling, BJJ, and combat sports event that grew from just 10 attendees to a regular 20+ fighters from Berlin and beyond—I was approached by the MeetFighters.com community with an exciting challenge: to bring WrestleFest to Europe, following the example of our New York City counterpart.
As both a fighter and former event manager, I accepted this challenge and embarked on a mission to establish an international combat sports festival in the gay capital of Europe. Like Fight Club Berlin, both events are non-commercial and primarily volunteer-driven.
Now, I want to take these events to the next level—transforming them from a passion project that consumes time and resources I currently don’t have into a more structured, community-focused, and empowering movement. My goal is to make combat sports more welcoming and inclusive, strengthening our community through skill-building, self-confidence, and the exploration of our passions.
